Pipe NOT on the head of “Piper”

 The stray Oconee County dog that is the object of a large search is reported still loose, but is said to be all right. And the Sheriff’s Office has sent out pictures taken by an animal control officer that show, contrary to earlier ones, the dog does not have a pipe on its head. Animal Control is confident that it can capture Piper or that it will return to a normal routine and reunite with the individual who is familiar with the dog. In the meantime, Animal Control is asking the general public not to take part in the search or throw out food in the area. Piper is said not to be suffering, but will avoid contact with other people.
