Pipes burst at Animal Rescue

The cold of last Monday and Tuesday did a number on the pipes at an animal home in the Tamassee community of Oconee County. The water pipes burst there ruining walls and other materials. As a result, Sundance Mountain Animal Rescue could use some donated materials. If you can spare insulation, wall covering, and even some pipes, please contact Rita Hightower at 903-3351. She will make arrangements to pick up any donated materials. Fortunately, no animals were harmed by the burst pipes and the cold. To protect them from the coldest night of the winter, the animals were placed in the shelter basement.
