Plaintiff rests

The plaintiff has officially rested in an Oconee County trial alleging medical malpractice at a nursing home. And yesterday afternoon, the defense began calling witnesses in the case of Reynolds versus Sava Senior Care, also known as Seneca Health and Rehabilitation. Testifying first was a nurse, Linda Hopkins. An eight-year employee at the nursing home, Hopkins described Seneca Health and Rehabilitation as a place where nurses, nursing assistants, and others pitch in to get the job done when it comes to providing the best care they can to the residents which, in 2010, included Dorothy Reynolds. The trial, now in its third week, resumed yesterday after a one-week break.
