Plaintiff’s witness provides photo evidence

An expert witness for the plaintiff is offering photographic evidence today of damaged Lake Keowee townhouses. As led by plaintiffs’ attorney Robert Lyles Jr. of Charleston, forensic engineer Derek Hodgin of Westminster is narrating a series of slides depicting water intrusion to stone veneer in the phase one section of the Stoneledge at Keowee development off Ebenezer Road. Hodgin’s qualifications allowed him to be declared an expert witness, at the start of his testimony yesterday afternoon. The jury has been told to expect later in the trial at least one more expert witness—this one to be building damage expert to testify for the defense.
