Pocketbook theft leads to arrest

The theft of a pocketbook last month from the Seneca McDonald’s restaurant has led to the arrest of a 28-year old OconeeCounty man.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Justin Marshall Gunn on the charge of petty larceny.  A restaurant customer left her pocketbook at a table and went to the counter to correct her breakfast order.  A video showed a man, whom the Sheriff’s Office says was later identified as Gunn, taking the pocketbook and leaving.  The stolen pocketbook contained $180 dollars, credit cards, and a cell phone.  According to the deputies, none of the contents has been recovered.
