Wanted man charged with murder in Anderson homicide

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating this man, Curtis Tywan Fowler, in relation to a Friday night homicide in Anderson.

Police in Anderson have officially filed murder charges against a man still at-large. Police were called to 1703 Martin Avenue in Anderson at around 11:20 PM Friday. At that location, police discovered a male victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to ANMED Health emergency department where he was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as 40 year old Bryan Howard of Anderson.

On Sunday police officially filed murder charges against Curtis Tywan Fowler, 29, of Anderson, who remains at large.  If anyone has information on the wherabouts of  Fowler, they are asked to contact Anderson Area Crimestoppers at 888-CRIME-SC or at www.andersonareacrimestoppers.com. In addition to the murder charge, Fowler is charged with possession of a firearm during commission of a violent crime.
