Post mortem and autopsy

Coroner Karl Addis has announced results of the post-mortem and autopsy conducted on the bodies of the man and the woman found in the front yard of a home on the Steve Nix Road in the Return Community near Seneca. The post-mortem showed James Wesley Foxx died of a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head. Addis ruled Foxx’s death a suicide. An autopsy on Gwendolyn D. Hiott found she sustained two gun shot injuries that resulted in vascular trauma; both gun shots were fatal. She sustained wounds to her chest and left side of the neck. The coroner classified Hiott’s death a homicide. The post mortem and autopsy were conducted yesterday at AnMed Medical Center. The deaths are believed to have occurred shortly after 1 a-m Saturday.
