Post mortem results

The Oconee coroner reports that a post mortem exam confirmed that Seneca resident Robert Hunter died early yesterday of blunt force trauma to the head and chest—when hit by a newspaper route pickup truck on South Poplar Street. Coroner Karl Addis ruled the 52-year old Hunter’s death as accidental and said no medical issue was found to have contributed. The police quote the driver of the Toyota Tacoma, Joshua Guy Brock of Westminster, as saying he struck something in the roadway and, at first, thought it was an animal. The accident occurred at 3:08 a-m yesterday.
