Potential hepatitis ‘A’ exposure

For a third day, DHEC opened the doors of its Greenville and Spartanburg county health departments to provide post-exposure treatment to people who may have been exposed to hepatitis ‘A’ at two Hardee’s restaurants in Spartanburg County.  The restaurants are located at 11209 Greenville Highway in Lyman and 1397 E. Main Street in Duncan.  Those two county health departments will again offer treatments during normal business hours today.  DHEC medical consultant Anna-Kathryn Rye recommends that customers and staff who ate at the Lyman restaurant between September 7 and September 15 or the Duncan restaurant between September 7 and September 13 should receive post-exposure treatment for hepatitis ‘A.’
