Powerball pirze won by South Carolinian

No one in South Carolina won the Powerball jackpot on Wednesday night, but the state’s Education Lottery urges players to check their tickets.  Five players won $100 thousand and another 11 players won $50 thousand.  Columbia resident Sioban Smith was the first of four South Carolina’s $100 thousand winners to come forward.  Smith bought her ticket at a store in Ballentine and debated how much to spend on a chance at the big jackpot that piqued her interest.  She settled on $21 thousand in quick picks with PowerPlay.
