Prater to be Grand Marshall

The 51st SC Apple Festival runs September 4-8, 2012 in Westminster

The biggest fan of the annual S.C. Apple Festival Rodeo will serve as Grand Marshall of this year’s S.C. Apple Festival Parade. The parade will roll down Westminster streets at 4:30 Friday afternoon, September 7 and, when it does, Jay Prater will lead it. Prater is easily recognizable for his smile and cowboy hat. Everyone is invited to turn out for this year’s festival, the 51st annual in recognition of the Westminster-Long Creek area apple crop.
