Princeton hoopster makes stop at 96.3/WGOG

A small car from small town Oklahoma pulled up at 96.3/WGOG … and out stepped Princeton University basketball player Clay Wilson. He’s in Walhalla to visit relatives, including his aunt Ann Anderson, 96.3/WGOG account executive. Just-graduated from Princeton, Wilson finished four years athletic eligibility as a 6-3 shooting/point guard for the Tigers. He has hired an agent and soon hopes to reach a deal with one of the many professional European basketball teams. Wilson played high school basketball in a small Oklahoma town (near Tulsa) and matriculating across country to an Ivy League institution. At 96.3/WGOG, he spoke of the experience which included soaking in the basketball rich tradition of Princeton, getting to meet Bill Bradley, and getting to play in the Palestra, the home court of the University of Pennsylvania in nearby Philadelphia.
