Prize awarded to young library patron

julia Summer time reading has paid off for one Oconee County teenager. Julia Jessop received a pair of Beats by Dre headphones for completing the Oconee Public Library’s teen summer reading program. Julia completed ten required literacy tasks and qualified for the grand prize drawing. The headphones were presented by Youth Services Librarian Stacie Powell and Seneca Branch Manager Emily Sluder. Each summer the Oconee Public Library holds reading programs for children, teenagers and adults.
