Seneca expects to make final this week its long-pursued deal to buy a large manufacturing building, the former Pro Pex plant on the Shiloh Road. In a partnership with Oconee County, the city is taking over the building to create what is envisioned as a new industrial park, paralleling a rail line. At City Hall last night, City Administrator Greg Dietterick said the documents necessary for signatures should be in place today at City Hall Dietterick says before developing what has been referred to as the Seneca Rail Site repairs to the 1968 building are required.
