Project “Tau” is a Midwest company

Today’s key for a Minnesota company intending to open an operation at Seneca. Richard Blackwell, the chief Oconee economic development recruiter, says today is the day South Carolina is to decide incentives for what’s being touted as a 77-employee operation and at least $2.5 million investment. “We’re waiting on the State to bestow incentives for the project, and we expect good news on that front later today,” Blackwell said. He went on to say that with Oconee County incentives already in the pipeline, the announcement of the project can be made in “the coming weeks.”
