Public help sought to solve drive-by shootings

Two drive-by shootings in Oconee County remain unsolved, and the Sheriff’s Office seeks your help if you can provide information as to what happened near Seneca in 2013 and again this year. The first shooting occurred April 10, 2013 on Gallo Way near Country Village Drive off the Shiloh Road. The second was a little more than 90 minutes later on Dyar Road between Cherokee Gardens and the Old Clemson Highway. On February 1 this year, deputies were called back to the same Dyar Road address to a possible drive-by shooting there again. The Sheriff’s Office won’t release a possible motive for the shootings. If you can provide information, a potential cash reward awaits by calling 638-STOP.
