Public’s input can help solve crime

The Oconee Sheriff’s Office can use your help to solve the theft of last week of a vehicle near Salem. The crime was reported Thursday morning on n. highway 11 near Fall Creek Road. Stolen was a 1980s model Chevy flatbed with a grey cab and a black bed. Deputies quote the owner as saying that several batteries, some heavy duty wire and a riding lawnmower were also taken.
