August 14, 2013

In Seneca last night, Frankie Pearson asked the mayor and city council to require the enforcement of a law on the books that forbids stores from selling items that illegal drug users can fashion to facilitate their habit. “They’re selling crack pipes in our stores in this county, Pearson said during the public comment period last night at City Hall. He said Oconee County Council next week will consider an ordinance similar to Seneca’s that’ll make illegal the sale of drug paraphernalia throughout the unincorporated areas of the county.
