Rain moves “Steak in Oconee” indoors

Rain has forced a change in venue of tonight’s “Steak in Oconee.”  Instead of outdoors on the farm grounds of Whetstone Place in Mountain Rest, the event has been moved a short distance away so it can be held indoors.  The new venue is the Mountain Rest Community Club where ticketed guests tonight will celebrate what’s considered to be the strong and lively industry in Oconee of agriculture.  For a $45 dollar admittance fee, guests can look forward to a menu including prime rib, sweet corn, a medley of roasted root vegetables, craft beer, organic wine, and more.  Three speakers will extol agriculture opportunities of today.
