Razor tally 15 hits in win

In high school sports Tuesday, the Walhalla softball team defeated Pickens 9-3. The Razors tallied 15 hits in the contest. Brooke Winchester got the win on the  mound, allowing 6 hits and recording seven strikeouts in 7 innings. Elsewhere, Seneca softball downed Palmetto 9-4.

In baseball, Palmetto blanked the Seneca Bobcats in Williamston, 2-0. West-Oak baseball was also shut out, 10-0 by Belton Honea Path.

Walhalla’s girls soccer team defeated Pickens 2-1 in overtime. Brianne Hendrickson scored the winning goal for Walhalla. It took overtime for Seneca’s boys to defeated Oakbrook Prep 3-2. Samuel Thompson got the win on a penalty kick.

West-Oak’s boy’s golf team scored 167 to defeated Wren and Seneca at Cross Creek Plantation. Jackson Tyler led the Warriors by shooting a 38.
