Razorbacks lead Landrum 15-7; Play to resume Saturday at 4 PM

It was a wild-weather kind of night for high school football in South Carolina on Friday. The Walhalla Razorbacks saw four weather delays before officials decided to halt play until Saturday. That following delays that would have forced the second half to begin after 11 PM. Walhalla is leading Landrum 15-7 with :16 seconds to play in the second quarter. Play will resume Saturday afternoon at 4 PM. Walhalla’s two scores came from Seth Holcombe, including a 77-yard scoring strike from quarterback Ty Abercrombie, the Razors longest play from scrimmage this season.

Weather was no better at Easley where the Seneca Bobcats were set to take on the unbeaten Green Wave. Kick off finally came after 10 PM and Seneca handily won the game, which stretched 40 minutes into Saturday, by a score of 38-0.

West-Oak faced no delays or postponements in their game at Cunningham Stadium in Pendleton. The Warriors fell to the Bulldogs 41-0.

Daniel went to overtime before falling, 27-21, to Emerald. Daniel starts the season with two straight losses.
