Recognizing “E” for his service

A former Seneca councilman will be recognized during a meeting at Greenville Friday for his years of service as a member of the policy board of a regional government service. Ernest Riley is to be recognized by Jane Hall, board chairwoman, during a meeting of the board of directors of the South Carolina Appalachian Council of Governments. For the last two years, Riley has served as board chairman. He served as an appointee of the Oconee Municipal Association. Steve Pellisier, A-COG executive director, says he will send a letter to Oconee municipal mayors notifying them that, as the result of this month’s Seneca election, Riley no longer services as an A-COG board member.
