Red Cross pitches in to help

Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers are helping the residents of six units at Seneca’s Crescent Pointe Apartment Homes.  Their apartments on S. Oak Street were damaged yesterday by fire, water, and smoke.  And Red Cross says, should the need arise, it is ready to assist other residents there.  The immediate assistance consists of temporary housing, financial assistance for food and clothes, and comfort kits, along with referral to partner agencies for long-term recovery.
