Reports of suspicious man leads to arrest

Reports of a suspicious person in a West Union neighborhood late Sunday night led to an arrest by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office.  Deputies found a man on Dutch Fork Road who claimed he was looking for his employer and was there on Dutch Fork Road to mow grass.  The homeowner said he did not know the man.  Jimmy Watt, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office, said warrants charge David Edwin Ramage with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a quantity of Tramadol, Amphetamine, and Hydrocodone.  The 25-year old Ramage was also issued a ticket charging possession of drug paraphernalia.
