Ribbon cut for industrial expansion

Two new buildings on the campus of an Oconee cutting tool plant near Clemson have been completed and are open for business.  At the end of a ceremony this morning, a ribbon was cut to officially open a recycling center and the office building that will serve as the world headquarters of Greenfield Industries TDC Cutting Tools outside of China, the home of the company owner Jeff Chee.  He was among several dignitaries who spoke at today’s ceremony.  Others were State Senator Thomas Alexander, Oconee County Councilman Paul Cain, and Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander.  Governor Haley delivered a congratulatory message thru a video hookup.
