Ribbon cut for Oconee GOP office

On one side of a downtown Seneca street is the party headquarters for the Oconee Democrats.  Directly across N. Townville Street is the home of the county Republicans.  And today the Republicans cut a ribbon to formally open their campaign office for the November election.  Inside the GOP office stood a life-size poster of Donald Trump.  And the county chairman, Bob Skipp, says he thinks by surrounding himself with new advisors, Trump’s likeability factor is better.  “I think he is surrounded now by some people who have gotten the message across to him that running a Presidential election is different from running a Presidential primary,” Skipp told 101.7/WGOG NEWS just moments before the county Republicans were to welcome Congressman Jeff Duncan, their featured guest for today’s event.
