Salem area events for “Honoring Their Service”

Salem played host today to the visiting Marines. Thirty-eight Marines enjoyed breakfast this morning at the community building and were welcomed with remarks by the mayor, Dianne Head. Once the breakfast finished, the Marines were given a police escort leaving town for nearby Little River Community, where Little River’s Jim Williams will lead the Marines on a river adventure.
