Salem to hold special election

Beginning today Salem residents can step up to answer the call of their town. A special election to fill a town council vacancy is planned Tuesday, November 13 and the noon hour today starts a two-week qualifying period for candidates. Whoever wins the special election fills the term created by the resignation of Tony Moore, who moved outside the town limits.
