Saturday pedestrian accident in Seneca

An early Saturday night pedestrian accident in Seneca closed down Wells Highway near Seneca High School for up to one hour. The police say the accident occurred when a 16-year old boy got out of his family’s truck to retrieve households items that had fallen into the roadway at Clydesdale Road. Lt. Robert Tribble said the boy was hit by the driver of a Ford SUV. The boy went to the hospital and, other than some road scrapes, suffered no other injuries. The accident happened at 7 o’clock.
