SC returns to normal operations

South Carolina has begun to return to normal as agencies scale back operations related to the severe winter storm that began Tuesday. Governor Haley rescinded the emergency order, which means state and county emergency management offices are now back to normal, daily operations. Today state and county government officers either delayed opening or resumed normal schedules. However, Oconee public schools were closed for a second day. Because frozen precipitation is still on the ground in many places, everyone should be cautious—especially on secondary roads and low-lying or shade covered areas.
