School Board to receive audit report

How well the Oconee School District handled the millions of dollars it spent for public education during 2014-15 is being tracked by the district’s outside auditor.  And Monday night the school board receives the fiscal year 2015 report from Don Estep, certified public accountant.  Spending for public education has caught the attention of a critic of the school board’s decision to close the Tamassee-Salem Middle/High School.  Lynn Martin, who is challenging the decision in court, has said she has been and will continue to study the spending habits of the district.
