School budget hearing tonight

If approved, the next Oconee school budget will approach the $100 million dollar neighborhood.  The latest projections are for public school spending in Oconee to hit the mark of $97 million—-a little more than $3.5 million from the current year.  The county trustees will accept comments and questions about the budget proposal during their 6 o’clock meeting tonight at district headquarters in Walhalla.
