School buses on the road!

The Christmas break has finally ended for Oconee public schools. Classes open for the last half of the academic year at regular time this morning. And that means those yellow school buses are back on the roads today. Dr. Mike Lucas, superintendent, says, “….it appears we’ve dodged the possibility of snow for today.  The Arctic blast is to arrive later this morning, and the wet weather appears to have moved south and east.”
