School year ends, but no meals for kids

Oconee’s public schools are about to shut down for the summer. But the summer months do not mean an end to the meals offered by Oconee Schools Food Services. Free lunch meals will be available at locations in Seneca, Walhalla and Westminster. One lunch per child will be served at three locations beginning Monday, June 9 at Code Academy in Seneca, beginning Monday, June 16 at the Walhalla City Pool and at the Westminster Recreation Center. The meals are also available to the general Oconee County public 18 years of age or younger.
