Schools dismiss for winter break

Oconee County public schools dismiss for the winter break one week from today, Friday, December 20. It’ll be an early dismissal day for students. Parents should plan for elementary students being dismissed around 11 and middle and high school students about 11:15. Beginning Monday, December 23, all school and district offices will be closed. They’ll re-open Thursday, January 2. Middle and high school offices resume operations Friday, January 3. Students and teachers will enjoy a long break over the holidays. They return for school Monday, January 6.
