Scouts busy in Westminster!

Several condemned structures in Westminster are being removed, and the local Scouts are helping their city clean-up.  “We are happy to help them by carrying away the debris from the demolished buildings,” said Mayor Rick McCormick. “Anytime we can help someone cleanup an eyesore, especially one they didn’t make, we need to do that.”  With the help of Woodmen of the World and the Westminster Baptist Church, Scout Troop/Pack 129 has secured seven acres adjoining the Scout Hut to house events and adventure/recreation areas.  The next phase of their facility will have bathhouse facilities, campsites, low ropes course, walking trail and activity field.
