Search for Jeep stolen in Pickens winds up near Westminster

A Jeep stolen yesterday in Pickens turned up near Westminster, where officers arrested and charged a 34-year old man. The victim witnessed a man getting into her parked Jeep Grand Cherokee at the Pickens’ Ingle’s Store and driving away. Later, she helped authorities find the car near Westminster’s Coffee Road by activating her Smart Phone locater. And Oconee Sheriff’s officers found the car and arrested Charnel Wayne Johnson and charged him with possession of a stolen vehicle.
