Search for presumed drowning victim

June 20, 2013

Rescue crews are expected to resume the search at daylight this morning for a man presumed to have drowned in the Chattooga River. After several hours yesterday, crews suspended their search in a remote section at Long Creek. Efforts this morning are to send rescuers by boat and on trail, but their success is likely to depend on the flow of water in the river.
