Second and third arrests in the books

Oconee sheriff’s officers have made additional arrests in their investigation of the theft of $30 thousand worth of tools and fiber optic equipment near Seneca. Arrested yesterday afternoon on charges of receiving stolen goods were Tammy Renee Cobb, 44, and Robert Earl Heaton, 45, both of the same Seneca address. Previously arrested on the same charge was a third Seneca resident—44-year old James Gus Orr Jr. The theft occurred in June at Jet Commercial on the Wells Highway. Listed as the crime victim was Network Controls, a Greer company involved in Oconee’s Broadband FOCUS project.
