See the Geechee-Gullah Ring Shouters this Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 in Seneca. The Bertha Lee Strickland Cultural Museum is sponsoring this free event, explains museum manager Shelby Henderson. “This is one of the world’s top performing artists of the Geechee-Gullah culture, and all descendants are of African slaves. They will be offering a history and heritage presentation of African-American culture from slavery. You don’t want to miss this special event.” The event takes place this Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at 2pm in the Gignilliat Community Center, located at 621 North Townville Street in Seneca.
