Seneca man charged with attempted robbery

In an arrest made by the Seneca police late last week, a 27-year old man is charged with attempted armed robbery.  Law enforcement reports identify the man arrested as Montrez Obrian Jones.  The police began investigating an incident alleged to have occurred the previous weekend—Memorial Day weekend—at an apartment home on S. Stribling Street.  A man appeared at the police station the night of Saturday, May 28 and told the police that another man walked into the apartment home, pulled a gun, and struck the man in the face with the gun.  According to the victim, robbery was the motive for the man with the gun.  The police arrested Jones Friday.
