Senate hearing for small business recovery

Senator Tim Scott is bringing a Senate field hearing to Columbia on Friday to deal with efforts to help small business recover from October’s severe storms.  A panel is being assembled for “Strategies for Rebuilding:  An Examination of Small Business Recovery Efforts in South Carolina.”  Scott, a South Carolina Republican, and members of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship will hear from James Rivera, head of disaster assistance for the Small Business Administration, and from at least five South Carolina businessmen and women.  The hearing takes place at 11:30 Friday morning at the Columbia City Hall.
