SENECA COACH COMING BACK NEXT YEAR

After winning the Western AAA Region, advancing to the second round of the playoffs and finishing 8-4 overall on the season, Seneca High School first year Head Football Coach Hal Capps considers it a good season and plans to come back next year. “I thought it was good. When I look at this year and I think back when we were 1-3 and we could have tanked it, just gave up, the kids could have quit on me, they didn’t do that and it shows the character within our kids and our community. It was a good, good year and I’m really pleased and happy to be here. I’m hoping to break the cycle, I mean that is my plan, unless I pass away in the next 8-9 months I will be back at Seneca High School as a second year coach and that hasn’t happened in the last five years.” Congratulations to Coach Capps and the Seneca Bobcats for another successful season of varsity football. This year’s senior class had a different head football coach all four years of high school. Here’s hoping Coach Capps stays for many years to come.
