Seneca considers zoning and annexation requests

Seneca is stretching its borders—especially in the area of a Wells Highway intersection. When the mayor and council sit down for their regular June meeting tomorrow, they’ll be requested to pass on as many as five annexation applications, as well as six corresponding zoning classifications. On 96.3/WGOG NEWS today Ed Halbig, planning and community development director, responds to the question of whether these and other recent annexations set the stage for a new city map—to better reflect the city’s borders.
