Seneca Drive-By Shooting Injures One

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a drive-by shooting in Seneca. Investigators say shots were fired into a dwelling at 1129 Thatcher Road April 21st around 7:30 PM. And individual at the residence was injured and taken to Oconee Medical Center in good condition. Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt says the suspects vehicle is a four-door Nissan Altima. The vehicle was located across the road from Hopewell Church Road and was subsequently towed to the Sheriff’s office impound. Anyone with information is asked to call  CrimeStoppers at 638-STOP or 1-888-CRIME-SC.  You can also text in your tip to 274637.  You don’t have to give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
