Seneca FFA students to compete in national convention

FFAAt this fall’s 89th National FFA convention in Indiana, seven Seneca students will compete in an agri-science fair.  Looking forward to the science and technology competition in agriculture are (Left to Right in picture) Madison Towe, Bailey Worley, Caroline Crowe, Grace Powell, Trey Hawk, Alexis Le, and Riley Hard.  At the SC State Agri-science Fair in June, the Seneca FFA students competed against other South Carolina FFA members and placed among the top in the state.  These projects were then sent to be judged for the National FFA Agri-science Fair in July, where they were selected as a national finalist in their corresponding category and division. The Seneca High School FFA Milk Quality and Products team, which placed 1st in state competition, will compete in the National Milk Quality and Products Career Development Event.  FFA members, Chandani Patel, Garner Powell, Eliana Lord, and Haley Cole, will demonstrate their knowledge about the quality production, processing, distribution, promotion and marketing of milk and dairy foods.
