Seneca fire victim flown for treatment

A car fire yesterday inside a Seneca garage left the man working on that car with burns and smoke inhalation. The man, who was not identified to 96.3/WGOG NEWS, was flown by helicopter from the Seneca Fire Department last evening to regional burn treatment center at Augusta, Georgia. Seneca fire fighter Fabian Skelton said the car fire occurred late yesterday afternoon inside a garage underneath a home on S. Hillcrest Drive near Daniel Avenue. According to Skelton, the apparent start of the car fire has been traced to an area between the carburetor and car battery.
