Seneca helping hand to Walhalla

Seneca extended a helping hand last night to Walhalla, in the form of equipment to help the County Seat municipality restore its swimming pool. Seneca Clerk-Treasurer Joel Seavey said during last night’s City Hall meeting the mayor and council made official their donation of equipment, such as pumps, to help Walhalla reopen its pool. Seneca and Westminster no longer operate municipal pools. For public swimming pool purposes, Walhalla’s would be the onlyone in the county this summer—if Walhalla, as its mayor hopes, can reopen its pool some time next month. After an executive session last night, Seneca City Council made two appointments to its board of architectural review: David West and Carol Johnson.
