Seneca High rated excellent

 The Seneca High School Symphonic Band is said to sound as good as it has in years. Wednesday was a special day for the band. The state Band Directors Association hosted an event at Lexington High School The Seneca band, directed by Matthew Smith, received an overall rating of excellent—the second highest rating available. Seneca’s next concert will be free, open to the public, and will showcase popular and catchy tunes and feature the school’s jazz band—Medium Funk.
