Seneca leaders meet Monday

The mayor and the eight-member city council gather Monday night in Seneca for two meetings in which the city’s switch to electric-powered bus service will be a prime consideration. Four electric buses are now in Seneca’s possession. On Monday night, however, the council will be asked to approve the purchase of a 5th electric bus from the Greenville manufacturer Proterra. The evening begins at City Hall at 6 o’clock with a work session, to be immediately followed by a special meeting.
